Same Coho, different home

If you’ve eaten Pacific coho salmon then you’ve essentially eaten our fish.

That’s because our fish are very similar to their wild saltwater brethren. We started 17 generations ago with an elite seed stock of Pacific coho and the goal of cultivating the best tasting and most sustainable salmon possible. Thanks to focused, natural breeding for characteristics that allow these Coho to thrive in fresh water, the differences lie in their controlled freshwater environment and improved growth rate.

Along with these two critical factors come a host of benefits, including protection of wild salmon, elimination of dangerous contaminants and the potential to source salmon near major urban markets.

In other words, a safe, reliable supply of local, healthful salmon that tastes like a good salmon should.
